When to pick it

Pick fruit only days after turning yellow.

If picked days after color, it has a perfectly balance of sweet and tart, tasting like a perfect lemonade. Left longer it becomes very sweet with no acidity and slightly dulled lemony flavor.

Before you buy one

Isis Gold is not self-fertile. On its own it will flower but not set fruit. It needs pollen from a different variety, applied by hand on the night the flower opens — which takes about a minute and is genuinely enjoyable.
